The Science of Nitric Oxide (NO)
Nitric Oxide (NO) may promote the health and wellness of tissues.
Nitric oxide (NO) is a crucial signaling & effector molecule in the human body, exerting various biological effects, including:
- NO is produced by immune system cells as part of the body's natural defense mechanisms.
- NO may have direct antimicrobial effects against viruses, fungi, and bacteria.
- NO plays a key role in the selective relaxation of blood vessels, which may improve localized blood flow to tissues.
- NO is involved in the regulation of inflammation.
NO may be helpful as part of the care regimen in certain skin, oral or nasal conditions.
